Lakefront at golden hour

Cullinan Retreats · Chapter One

Devotion

A weekend designed to feel like the kind of life you've been cultivating.

Lake Conroe, Texas · 8 women · Friday to Sunday

August 14–16, 2026

Early bird locks for the first 4 women — or until July 10, whichever comes first.

A note from Lindsey

This is the weekend I wish someone had handed me.

Three days at a lakefront estate forty-five minutes from Houston. Eight women. Real Pilates, real yoga, real food made for us. A pool, a hot tub, a fire pit, and enough quiet to remember what your own thinking sounds like.

No bootcamp energy. No 5 AM wake-ups. No performance. Just the work, the water, and a small group of women who are also done with being depleted.

I built the Cullinan Method for women who have done all the workouts and all the reading and still feel wired and tired. This weekend is what the method looks like with the volume turned up — and the rest of life turned off.

— Lindsey

What the weekend holds

A guiding rhythm, not a strict schedule.

The weekend begins slowly.

You'll arrive at the estate between 5:30 and 6:30 PM. Your room will be ready — name on the door, a small welcome gift waiting, the kind of details that say you don't have to do anything tonight except settle in.

At 7:00 PM we gather for a welcome circle by the pool. Nothing performative — just an opening, a breath, a chance to land in the same room as the seven other women you're spending the weekend with.

At 7:30, we gather for a welcome dinner — long table, candles, real food, made by me the way I'd cook for friends staying the weekend. We eat slowly. We linger.

After dinner, we gather by the fire for The Threshold — a brief opening ritual and yoga nidra to mark the crossing from your everyday life into this weekend. Most women describe this as the moment they realize they're actually here.

Friday includes: Welcome circle · Welcome dinner · The Threshold ritual + yoga nidra

This is the day the weekend opens up.

Morning starts gently. A slow breakfast is laid out at 7:00 AM — coffee, tea, fresh fruit, the kind of breakfast that doesn't ask you to be ready. Wake up when you wake up.

At 9:00 AM, our first movement session — a slow pilates flow with breathwork woven in, led by Lindsey. The kind of practice that doesn't ask you to perform. The kind that asks you to listen.

Brunch follows at 10:30 — eggs, slow oats, fresh things, the meal you'd make for yourself if you had time.

Then the afternoon belongs to you. The pool. The dock. A nap. A book. A conversation with the woman in the kitchen. Nothing is required.

At 4:00 PM we gather for our signature Cullinan ritual — a cacao ceremony with journaling and sound. Ninety minutes of heart-opening practice at sunset. Most women describe this as the heart of the weekend.

Golden hour at the lake follows. Photos for those who want them. An adaptogenic cocktail in your hand.

Saturday dinner at 7:00 PM is the chef's flagship meal — three courses, long table, candles, conversation that has nothing to do with work. The kind of dinner you wish every weekend ended with.

The night closes however it wants to. Some women sit by the fire. Some go to bed at 9.

Saturday includes: Pilates + breathwork · Slow brunch · Open afternoon · Cacao ceremony + journaling + sound · Private chef dinner · Open evening

The last morning is the one most women describe as their favorite.

7:00 AM — Coffee and light bites laid out.

7:30 AM — Closing Pilates and yoga send-off (60 minutes, led by Lindsey — slow, restorative, integrative).

8:30 AM — Closing breakfast and integration circle (made by Lindsey).

Time to pack, linger, and take final photos.

10:00 AM — Departure.

SUNDAY INCLUDES: CLOSING PILATES + YOGA · INTEGRATION CIRCLE · CLOSING BREAKFAST · TAKEAWAY GIFT

Where we stay

A 6,000 square foot estate on Lake Conroe.

Six bedrooms. A lagoon pool with a hot tub. A private dock on the water. A fire pit that faces the sunset. Forty-five minutes from Houston, and far enough that your phone stops mattering.

This is not a "workshop venue." It is a home — the kind of place you'd rent for your best friend's wedding weekend. We have it to ourselves for three days.

Real meals, made for the way our bodies actually feel.

A private chef joins us Saturday — brunch after morning Pilates, and the flagship dinner that night. Friday's welcome dinner and Sunday's breakfast are made by me, the way I'd cook for a friend staying the weekend. Breakfasts, lunches, and snacks across the weekend are stocked and assembled — slow oats, smoothies, big salads, charcuterie, fresh fruit.

The full menu arrives in your inbox two weeks before the retreat.

Your guide

I have been teaching this work for nine years.

Roughly 1,600 hours in front of women who came in wired and left rested. STOTT Pilates. E-RYT 200. Trauma-informed yoga training. Certifications in personal training, nutrition, strength and conditioning.

I have led classes at Nike Pasadena, Finn Hall, Hilton Americas, and a veterans retreat in the Texas hill country. I teach the Cullinan Method — Pilates and yoga for women who are done bracing through their lives.

This is the first weekend version of the work. Eight women. Three days. The most concentrated dose I have ever offered.

Before you book

Honest answers to the questions you're already asking.

Adult women, 21+. Cullinan Retreats are designed as an intentional container for women on their own — no partners, no children, no exceptions. We honor this for the women who come. Women who already move, but feel wired and tired. Women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who have done the workouts, read the books, tried the routines, and still don't feel rested. You do not need to be a Pilates expert. You do need to be open to slowing down.

Tell us at booking. The chef accommodates gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and most other restrictions with notice.

Devotion is alcohol-free by design. We're spending the weekend doing somatic and nervous-system work, and the body responds better without alcohol in the system. Instead, you'll find a curated drink program: a Saturday cacao ceremony, adaptogenic mocktails at dinner, and a stocked kitchen of teas and tonics. Most women don't miss it. Many find they didn't realize how much they needed a weekend without.

Only the Slumber Room is shared — up to four women, book solo or with a friend. All other rooms are private bedrooms. The Garden King and Garden Queen share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom but each have their own private bedroom. The Lake Suite and Upstairs Suite have their own private ensuites.

Your deposit is non-refundable. Full balance is refundable up to 30 days before the retreat (by July 14). After July 14, no refunds — but your spot is transferable to another woman.

Lake Conroe is about 45 minutes north of Houston. We'll share a carpool sign-up with confirmed guests so you can ride together.

Comfortable clothes, swimsuit, journal, and anything that makes you feel at home. Mats are optional — bring your own or add an LK-branded mat at booking. A full packing list is sent two weeks before.

A weekend devoted to you, by the water.

Come.

Eight women. Three days. The version of you that has been waiting.

Early bird locks for the first 4 women — or until July 10, whichever comes first. · Deposit starting at $325

GOOD TO KNOW

Deposits are non-refundable, and all payments become non-refundable after July 14, 2026. Devotion is an intimate retreat with limited space — when you reserve a room, that spot is held for you and closed to others, which is why we're unable to offer refunds. If you're unsure about your plans, travel insurance is a thoughtful option.

The weekend's rhythm — schedule, sessions, and offerings — may shift slightly. Anything that changes will only ever be in service of the experience.
